Abstract

This article explores the intersection between participatory sculpture and transmedia practices through the concept of hybrid landscapes. Based on a case study, the Matérias project, and international initiatives, the research investigates how citizen engagement, open technologies, and storytelling contribute to the co-creation of sculptures anchored in community experience. The study highlights the use of tools such as audio recording, social networks, collaborative mapping, and virtual reality, both as artistic media and instruments of social empowerment.
